Ah, good ol' John Daly. His career hits the skids, he hits the changing room - and emerges 60 pounds lighter and wearing some very loud pants. Loudmouth pants, to be exact.
Above is what Daly wore in the second round of the Italian Open. Nicely accessorized, don't you think, by the beer gut and cigarette.
I never thought headlining a post "John Daly's Pants" could be a good thing, but in this case, I think it is.

If you were one of those left dazed by John Daly’s trousers at the Italian Open then I can assure you weren't the only one as most of the press loved to point out each pair. I personally thought it has been a genuis marketing for http://www.LoudMouthGolf.com The two-time major champion, sporting yellow trousers with psychedelic patterns on the final day, finished second on the leaderboard, six behind the eventual winner.
Despite his fine showing, the attention through most of the week was focussed on his trousers, which on the pro-am day looked more like a living room couch from the 70s. It didn’t stop golf’s biggest mystery-man from turning up in louder clothing over the next few days. While everyone’s eyes were on his trousers, he stealthily sneaked up the leaderboard to put his comeback firmly on track.
You can't argue with 69 69 69 66 !
This time around the big man seems to be serious about his comeback and looks to have made quite the right start. He also seems to have found a comfortable vent with Twitter and continues to regularly update his status @pga_JohnDaly.
Let’s see how Daly goes about his business at the Irish Open, it will sure to be the main attraction.
